Preparing Your Quilt or Wallhanging:

• Trim loose threads

• Remove pins and other foreign objects

• Do not baste or pin the quilt parts (top and back) together.

• Make sure your backing is at least 4 inches longer than the top on all four sides and that they are square.

• Press top and back, getting the wrinkles out and flattening the seams.

• Machine quilting cannot “hide” some puckers that occur in piecing or wavy, rippled and ruffled orders.

 

Thread:

There is no charge for single color thread. Different thread colors on your project: $1.00 per color

 

There is a $25 minimum charge for all work.

 

Pantographs (edge to edge) $.015/square inch

Custom (blocks) $.02/square inch

 

Calculating Quilting Charge:

Measure the length (in inches) and multiply by the width (in inches). This gives you your total square inches.
